Always on the lookout to enhance the range of activities on offer to our guests, from Sunday 5th June we will be adding weekly handling displays of Birds of Prey to what we have on offer.

Teaming up with Fife Falconry, The Green Hotel Golf & Leisure Resort will stage Falconry Displays for an hour every Sunday morning, starting at 10am at The Green Hotel with trained and experienced falconers and expert commentary.

In total, the Fife Falconry Centre has 45 birds of prey including owls, hawks, falcons and eagles - not forgetting 'Vomit', their resident vulture!  They will be showing a number of their birds in action during the hour long display.

The Birds of Prey handling display at The Green Hotel is open to both guests staying at the Green Hotel Golf & Leisure Resort and to the General Public - local families are very welcome.

SUNDAY 5th June 2011 (and then every Sunday throughout the summer) from 10am to 11am.

WHY NOT TRY IT YOURSELF?

In addition to these weekly handling displays, we have teemed up with Fife Falconry to an introductory falconry session or hawk walk where guests can handle or fly stunning birds of prey.  This is where you can learn first hand the art of falconry and then fly the birds yourself during a walk in the nearby countryside.

Hawk Walk (approx 2 Hours)     £35.00 - guests 'free fly' Harris Hawks along scenic trails.  NB they must take a lesson first before participating in the Hawk Walk.
